Preparing for the clan’s arrival this Sunday !!

Gotta iron all the washed cloths which are piled up on the guest bed and then clean the messed up computer table and vacuum the room which I was supposed to get it done by last nite but was just too tired after cooking for Hubby since it was his birthday yesterday. So need to get it done by tonite.

Tomorrow , I will clean n vacuum our room and the living room book rack which is in a mess too. Not gonna vacuum the living room till Saturday.

Friday I’m gonna sit and relax the nite away and Saturday…pheww…I will need to do marketing, cut n clean the chicken,lamb, purchase some vege meat for my bro , clean the washroom and vacuum the living room…

Poor Hubby..:(

Poor hubby as he has a bad cough for the past 2 weeks which became worst I think due to the weather change. He coughs a lot and his throat was sore. I was worried sick of him when he started throwing up whatever he consumed for one week. I took carer’s leave for 2 days just to take care of him..poor baby…tried giving him all sort of home remedies ,. Antibiotics, cough syrups, panadols and even brandy to calm his troat.. took some test and x-ray and the results were all good…nothing to worry about.. thank god his is recovering now and hopefully he gets well soon as the entire clan will be arriving this Sunday..yay!!

A Day Trip to Mornington Peninsula

On a bright sunny Saturday, we went for a road trip to Rye - Sorrento – Portsea for just to check out the place and we ended up at the Point Napean National Park. All I wanted to do was to walk to the tip of the Point Napean National Park where you can view the Bass Straits and also Port Phillip Bay but unfortunately it started drizzling and I just carried my SLR along with me without the bag. So we had to rush back to our car and furthermore the walk was about 1.5 KM long. Sigh nvm, shall visit there again one fine day.

The initial plan was to drive out to Great Ocean Rd but since hubby was not feeling that well, we thought of it will be best to put off that plan and go somewhere closer instead.

Choc Moist Cake & Nasi Minyak

Our dinner tonight was Nasi Minyak, Cucumber Salad with Lamb Perattal..



Now my weekly baking activity became a fortnightly activity…sigh..i’ve got to do something about the laziness in me...and this is the time when I wish I have more ppl in the hse to feed all the food i cook/bake … so knowing my preshious who is not a big fan of cake except Choc cakes, I baked Moist Choc Cake for him last night.. loved the moist texture of the cake and I liked it personally coz the sweetness is just nice (not to sweet).. yeah lah…takut kalau I inherit my parent’s harta.. Diabetes..lol..
