Chirstmas is around the corner…

Its almost year end and its party time…Our party started 2 days ago at Kumar’s place with Limousine Party and a Birthday Bash themed 80s.

Now I am fervently waiting for the Kapper’s Christmas Party this Friday at Grand Hyatt, Melbourne…and the party continues at Prakash Hse that weekend…

can't think of a title at the moment !!

Not gonna blab much here…went for my ‘Midwife Interview’ yesterday evening at the hospital..All sort of questions were asked to me and hubby…from my weight, height to family’s medical history.. What to do in case of an emergency, hospital policies and also how to know if the labour has started…got a big huge bag full of pamphlets on ‘what to do’. Anyways, below pic was meal I cooked on last Sunday… Crab Perattal and my 1st try on Pakora…hehe

A beautiful Wednesday it was yesterday ..

Why it was beautiful wednesday?? Coz we had a chance to peek into our lil one’s world… yeah, went for my 20th weeks scan yesterday and saw the lil one moving around…lil one stuck its tongue out to the sonographer who was actually disturbing lil one’s afternoon nap…lol..i’m falling in love again and again with the lil one…I guess every mothers do..:) Came back home almost 3pm and tidy up the kitchen, cleaned the squid and shrimp and store them in the freezer…and then manage to cook our dinner early yesterday… And yes, since it’s a remarkably special day for the both of us to know the lil one’s gender… we celebrated the day with Butter Cheese Crab, Mantou bun and Sparkling Grape Juice for dinner…

1 day more for weekend !!

Its Thursday and the weather is not so bad…gloomy with 16 degrees temperature…but all good…had scrumptious meal last nite…did Lamb Korma for the 1st time and it turn out well…accompanied with some Stir-fried Beans, Mysore Lamb and Ghee Rice…I topped up rice 3 times on my plate!! …nah…not feeling guilty about it..i’m eating for 2 !! …hehe

Air Mata Kucing..

We went to Glenwaverly last week friday to Asian Grocery store to get a few Malaysian food...so we grabbed a pack of Dried Longans and below is my 1st try on Air Mata Kucing... It turned our very well :-)

Exactly a year ago..

It has been a year since we moved to this part of the world… I still remember our 1st day , once we’ve landed at Tullamarine Airport, hearts thumping away…feeling excited and horrified at the same time…Shamim and her husband fetched us from the Airport..Headed back home and was showed our room…and my big box of DHL shipment sent from KUL was already there…had our lunch and went straight to our room to unpack our luggage and took a short nap… I still remember ,while unpacking our luggage, hubby told me not too unpack everything, only take out the clothes we need for interviews and a few casual ones.. and to officiate our 1st day at Melbourne, we headed to Crown Casino on the 1st night.

Then the following day, we started with our plans .. we managed to open bank account, visit few recruitment agencies, open income tax file and a few other things within the 1st week..thats how desperate we were to start off …

Got myself admitted at Sandringham Hosp for a boil I had on my right arm elbow and went for a small surgery sometime in Feb end… I was admitted in Hosp for the 1st time in my life ppl…of all the time, this happened once we came here..Thank god it was all free (we got our Medicare card a week b4 that)…hehe

Hubby started his job in March at Rinnai and I took some rest that month… after 2 weeks working, hubby decided to get a 2nd hand car…he got himself a 13 years old Ford Festiva…did my job search a lil slow…before the Easter break,I got a positive feedback from one of job interviews…and started working for KPMG right after the Easter break..

We visited another family (Hubby’s fren) to celebrate Easter with them, stayed over at their place and went to church the next morning… it was my 1st Easter celebration..
Oh yeah, we went for camping during the Easter break to Portarlington.. set up our own tent, did some BBQ and played board games in the tent and finishing the night with horror stories…

After the Easter Break, I had to attend a training at Sydney while hubby was bz with the furniture purchases for our new rented unit…yeah we moved out to a rented unit on the 11th of April..and 2 bedroom unit..just nice and cosy for the both of us..

Then life moved on.. we got outselves bz with work during weekdays, bz with house chores towards the weekend..marketing, laundry, cooking and cleaning the hse…then when we are free, we would go to places to take photos…

Everymonth, we would have something to buy for the house…slowly we purchased vacuum cleaner, then coffee tables, computer tables, side table for the kitchen…by August, once we got our 1st tax return, we purchased more things like the TV set, extra mattress for the guest room, bed for us, washing machine, dining table chairs (there was the table only before that) ..

Not forgetting, our new car purchase sometime in July.. we bought a Honda Civic LE 1.8 .. and took it to the Basin Vinagayar temple for blessing…went to Ballarat for a drive right after 1st service was done…

In Oct, the entire family visited us for Deepavali celebration…we were bz with the cooking and also touring around…was a packed 2 weeks of family and joy…

Presh started his new job in Oct…he joined the Holden – General Motors … we were all happy and grateful for all the good things happened within this few months.. We went for a long holiday to KL in Dec to celebrate the New Years with family…

And now we are back to our normal Melbournian life, we are indeed very grateful to the Almighty to show us the right path…Its been a year…J

Happy New Year everyone…

I’ve been so bz ever since last 3 months…Parents and in laws visit in oct/nov, Deepavali Celeb in Nov, preparing X’mas gifts for family n cousins and also my Home Country trip in Dec…



And I just came back last week and just settling back to work and I still haven’t finalise my 2011 New Year Goals.. lol shall do it tonite…
